Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Great lasagna. Steak. Service and drinks. Maybe the best restaurant in lake havasue AZ. Little hard to find at night and make sure you have a reservation.

Everything was going good so far until I saw the young waitress (not our waitress) prepare us some more bread and proceed to actually touch our bread and then look over at our table to see if we were looking. Someone please teach her to not do this! Gross, since I saw her clean tables and then wipe her hands on her jeans. Our server(older women with blonde hair in a ponytail) is fantastic. 2 huge thumbs up for our waitress. My meal was tasty(until I saw the large pool of oil )and the portions are big. Gordon Ramsey would throw a temper tantrum if he saw all this oil! Much to say, I lost my appetite after realizing I was eating oil instead of my pasta dish. I gladly declined a Togo box. Yelper beware.

My favorite place to eat when in Havasu which is up to 3 times a month. Hopefully soon we will have a second home there so we can dine more often. My husband and I celebrate our wedding anniversary there every year:) The lobster fettachini is delicious and my personal favorite And my amazing husband likes the spaghetti with sausage. See you on 10/8/14 to celebrate 3 years of wedded bliss! Have the Crystal on ice please:) Sincerely Nanette Sanchez

Super good. You so need reservations but it's so worth it! I love everything! Bread is great with oil and vinegar; and the wine sample is a awesome idea!

CLOSED ON MONDAY We felt like Italian at the time so we went with this place for our super early dinna. People do eat early cause there were people dining in by 4:30 already. The atmosphere is cute & romantic with dim light. The servers were all nice and there's always one person walking around to make sure your water get refill |Eggplant Lasagna - $14| They split the portion into two for us since we told them we'd be sharing. Even then, I thought the portion was big! I couldn't finish my own half. I usually don'g care for lasagna so this review could be bias? But eggplant and lasagna don't compliment really well though. The eggplant is too plain, so it makes the lasagna even more tasteless. |Salads| You can pick either soup or salads with your entree and salads was our choice of the night. The dressing was too sour for my taste. Oddly, they didn't have thousand island. |Calarami| I always get calarami at an Italian place but sadly, I didn't enjoy this dish too much. The batter wasn't crunchy enough. And they only serve this with marina sauce. I enjoy it more with cocktail sauce. I tried it with ranch but even then, it still didn't taste good.

I have not been here in ages and I mean 6 years. Their cioppino have been on my mind ever since. :D Who would have thought in the middle of some where in Havasu would have Italian some place outside of LA that would have some bomb cioppino. Try to get seated where Santos is serving. He got a great attitude with great service.
(5)Jeremy R.
Probably the most authentic Italian restaurant I've ever had. Good service and the food is quality. The portion size is kind of small for the price, but makes up in taste. Reservations recommend on the weekend.
(5)Britanie O.
Food was great but service was awful!!! I think it was just the waitress that we had because the other waitor was totally on hus game.
(2)Kelly C.
We visited Angelina's tonight and although very busy experienced the best service I ever have. Our server was Santos he was very prompt and polite. Everything that I requested was given to us immediately. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer best we've had there!! For dinner we both ordered veal Marsala and it was outstanding!
(5)Lauren H.
Wonderful authentic Italian cuisine, fast friendly service, very warm romantic atmosphere, I loved every minute of it, very much recommended!
(5)Rachel B.
I love visiting Angelina's whenever we come to Havasu. Their little bar is adorable. The food is just wonderful and the service is super friendly. Most recently I got the eggplant lasagna and it was AMAZING. I am still thinking about it. My husband did the tour of Italy and loved it as well. Plenty of leftovers to bring home. Oh and bread is super yummy. Highly recommend!

Looking for some good Italian Food while in town, Angelina's didn't dissapoint. 4 of us dined on Thursday night, the ambiance is small dimly lit with candles placed at each table. We browsed at their extensive menu selection and called our waiter Santos to give us a hand after being overwhelmed. Santos was very attentive, energetic and accomodating. He reviewed the menu pointing out popular dishes and personal favorites. We finally settled on the Tour of Angelina. Includes Chicken Parmesian, Lasagne, and fettucini alfredo. We substituted the fettucini for Penne pasta served with pink sauce and asked to add shrimps as well $26 my wife and I split the plate. Our friends ordered the Chicken Lime Pasta $15 and also the Tour of Angelina as it came no subs $18. The restaurant serves complimentary rosemary bread very good. Used it to dip into pink pasta sauce. Why minus a star the food took about 40-1hr wait from ordering we were starving after being out on the lake. I did not want to fill up on bread. Once the food came out it was definitely worth the wait everything was piping hot. Everything tasted great the lasagne was perfect good sauce, cheese, The chicken Parm was crispy also very hot with gouey mozarella and sauce spread on top, and my favorite was the Penne pasta with pink sauce and shrimps. Now this was a pasta, had about 8 large shrimps not the skimpy bay shrimps you find at Olive Garden. The sauce was amazing garlicy flavor a mixture of red pasta sauce with alfredo sauce soooooo goood. Our friends enjoyed their meals as well but one taste of our pink sauce and they had to place an extra order of the same pasta to go. Try anything with the pink sauce and you will be ok. All in all the service was good, average plate is $15 pricing is good, portions are just right no leftovers for us, Will definitely be back. Tip: They dont serve pizza here; was going to order to go for kids, no problem stopped at little ceasars on the way home.

The fresh bread with lightly dabbed olive oil and sprinkled with dried rosemary was the highlight of my meal. Good bread is always a good sign, however I was sorely wrong when I ordered the chicken maria with a vegetable option $14. My husband had the trio cannelloni (super cheesy) $14 and he was satisfied with his meal. I thought my meal was way over sauced and poorly executed with too much salt. My pasta option was replaced with vegetable, so why wouldn't they cook down the sauce instead of having my meal swim in marinara. Here's the breakdown: don't come with high expectations and you'll be okay with the mediocre Italian food they serve.
(3)Moty B.
It is very average restaurant. very long time to receive the food. Food is not great.
(3)Chrystie K.
Our favorite place to eat when were in Lake Havasu. We have never been disappointed with the service or the food. Outstanding chicken marsala, stuffed eggplant, and lasagna. We also love the fresh bread they serve. I could go there just for that alone and be happy with a glass of wine on the side of it.
(5)Yesenia C.
I love Angelina's food, they have amazing Italian food...However it's the worst service you will ever receive. I'm not one to complaint but it was extremely bad! On July 3rd (busy weekend) I made a reservation two weeks in advance, letting them know it was my boyfriend's birthday, we were a party of 11 and I would be dropping off an Ice Cream Cake...everything was fine. On the day of the reservation I called twice to remind them I was coming with an Ice Cream Cake, when I showed up 3 hours before our actual reservation to drop of the cake and I told them please make sure it goes in a freezer. We finally arrive to our reservation 10 minutes early and we had to wait 25 minutes (NOT a big deal) we get seated and waited another 10 minutes for a drink and another 20 minutes for bread...but like I said it was a busy weekend not a HUGE deal...Finally after an hour (mind me it's 9:50pm I dropped off the ICE Cream cake at 5:30pm) we are eating our dinner. After dinner I was asked to come to the Kitchen to find out the Ice Cream cake is COMPLETELY melted, (I'm not being facetious). I walked outside took a deep breath and said it was ok, whatever bring out a dessert...EVERYTHING was ok, until the owner passed our table and said "It's only a F**** Cake" and I lost it from there... It seriously was the worst way an owner can handle any kind of situation, it went to the extreme that she cursed every single person in our table, I was escorted out by my boyfriend because of the way I was spoke too, I honestly almost got arrested. I'm a young person, who works hard and makes money to spend. I would never EVER walk out on a dinner but I did. A server speaking out of control would be more understanding than an owner calling me C yoU Next Tuesday....would I go back? No. My money is earned way to hard for that crap.
(1)Margerie Y.
Food is always excellent! Service is never excellent! Generally the bad service starts with the hostess who never seems to be around! We love the food and keep going back for the food but seriously the management needs to solve the service issues or eventually we will stop going back!
(3)Tim W.
Finally tried the new(er) location.... much more room than the last place!! We were there during the week so the place was not busy at all. Service was good. The Gnocchi with pink sauce was tasty. They have a large menu so many things to pick from. Serving was large and I had enough to take home for lunch the next day! I like this location much better and will be back more often now that I won't have to eat scrunched together with a bunch of other people like in the old location!
(4)Kristen W.
Love, love, love Angelina's!!! The chicken marsala is off the chain. I've been here probably 10 times and it's easily the best restaurant in town. The best way I can describe Angelina's is eating home cooking at a New York Italian mom's house; it's cooked with love and it's total comfort food. So good! If you have room, all of the desserts are amazing too.
(5)Lindsay D.
We had a reservation for 6 people, only waited like 10 mins. The wait surprised me as a group of 20 (with no reservation) walked in like 20 mins before we got there; I thought the wait would be longer because of them. Instead, the kitchen got a little backed up because of them, no big deal. The wait staff was definitely on point, water glasses rarely made it to half full. The rosemary bread was fine, not what I was expecting. Our waiter was cool and repeated things a few times for us. The group of 20 people was LOUD! Other than the noise from them, it was fine. The restaurant was DARK. There were little candles on the table but only 2 for our group of 6. Not enough lighting, that the main reason they lose a star. The food was GOOD. 3 had the special, 6oz lobster with a risotto. They all said it was fantastic. The risotto was wet but when they added the lobster to it the taste just worked. One had portobello mushroom ravioli, she raved about it from last year and said this year it was just as good. Boyfriend had chicken parm, inhale it. I had the baked ziti. Omg, the description said "mountain of ziti," I should have listened. Easily a 3 person dish. So delicious!! Our waiter, the water girl and the owner kept coming to check on us. We went through like 5 baskets of bread, it's fine, nothing to write home about. All in all, really good, we WILL be returning!!
(4)Anna V.
Amazing Italian! The crab stuffed shrimp and spaghetti squash with pesto sauce was TO DIE FOR!
(5)Paul B.
We've eaten here a number of times and it is very good, the service is very good and the food is the best Italian in Havasu IMHO. It's one of our favorite places to take people who are visiting from out of town. Food is super and the prices are very reasonable.....also never rushed and always give us lots of time to talk without trying to rush us off. All in all one of Havasu's hidden treasures
(4)Joseph A.
Went to Angelina's at the recommendation of my Sergeant. Talk about disappointing!! Lackluster service (could have used just one more refill and a better greeting by the person getting our table). Atmosphere was fine and it was clean, but food was SO bland. They give you all you can eat olive oil and rosemary focaccia bread that is just so~so. I asked for garlic bread and they said they don't do that. To satisfy my craving for garlic (which was why I wanted Italian in the first place) they brought me garlic soaked in olive oil and basil. RAW garlic!! I don't know what this side condiment would compliment, but I can't believe I tried to smear it on my bread. Horrible and bitter! What kind of Italian restaurant doesn't make garlic bread or even know how to roast garlic?!? Then there was the Parmesan chicken, which was the equivalent of elementary school cafeteria chicken patties covered in a bland marinara. The overly cooked lasagna appeared to have been filled with plain hamburger meat and the same boring sauce. My son was mad because his spaghetti and meatballs were plain and boring and lacked any true Italian flavors. I was happy with the price point until I ate and realized I definitely overpaid for the quality of food I received. Avoid this place like the plague, unless you've never eaten true Italian food and can't tell the difference.

We've been fans of Angelina's since our first visit a year ago. The food is authentic Italian and easily compares very favorably to some of the best restaurants in San Francisco's North Beach. The bread is amazing and the service has always been excellent. We haven't had a bad meal there. The only negative is that sometimes the wait is a bit long, however, since this is often a side-effect of a popular restaurant, it won't cause me to lower my rating.
(5)Susan C.
We were staying at the Travelogde next door and decided to walk over and try Angelina's Italian Kitchen @ 7:00 p.m. We did not have reservations, we were going to leave since we did have reservations and did not want to wait an hour, but they offered seating at the bar for immediate service if we did not mind sitting at the bar. We decided to stay and eat at the bar, we were very impressed. You definitely get great service and awesome food. This has to be the "Best" italian restaurants we have eaten at in Arizona since moving here from NY seven years ago!!! Next trip to Lake Havasu we will definately eat here and will call for reservations in advance.

I somehow ended up in Lake Havasu City on my birthday, the Fates conspired against me. Where would I go for a delish birthday meal in the land of casinos, smoking indoors, and senior menus? What reviews could I trust out here when I come from the Bay Area and I don't give places with less than 20 reviews the time of day? Angelina's. 9 reviews (3 times as many reviews as most places) and most of them being 5 stars. This deserved a chance. I'm glad I did give it a chance, the food and the atmosphere were great. I had the spaghetti and meatballs (tender and flavorful) with a smooth and slightly fruity house Chianti. My nephew had a creamy and savory fettuccine alfredo with chicken, and my boyfriend had a very tender and light lemon chicken dish. How do I know all those dishes were good? I tried all of them. I enacted my inalienable birthday dinner rights. The wait staff were prompt & friendly. The atmosphere was a little loud, but it didn't bother me too much. There was a large group of loud & laughing people near us. The decor was great; Sinatra's 1938 mug shot on the wall and Chianti bottles hanging on the ceiling. Great music; old crooners, The Godfather soundtrack, and newer opera singers. And I didn't forget the cannoli (see what I did there?) If you're looking for good food and a great place to dine, don't miss Angelina's Italian Kitchen!
(5)Stephanie S.
Food was delicious! I had the Eggplant Parm and it was one of the best Ive had. The service was great, servers were very friendly and helpful since it was our first time at Angelinas. The bread was perfect warm, soft and a great compliment to the salad and meal.

Italian food done right... Picture it: a 92 year old Italian woman, about 1lb of blush on each cheek, a huge wart on her chin, hair deep auburn and stiff as a board in your typical granny poof ball style. Same nifty yellow button down outfit from the 50's (in pristine condition)...Rosalie Giordano Italian much??? She sits across from us, with her napkin neatly tucked in her blouse. 92 and still so elegant... as she takes a bite of her lasagna we are all eager to hear her verdict. (after all, 92 and from Italy the woman knows Italian food). What happened next is a moment that I will never forget...with food stuffed in each cheek she looks up, grinning from ear to ear with sauce almost the same color as her blush smeared all over her face, she uttered one sound that said it all...."MMMMMMMM" That moment was enough to make Angelina's 5 stars, but honestly the food was incredible. I had the shrimp Alfredo and it was to die for. I must also add to the list of compliments that this really is the best bread ever! We also shared some spaghetti and it looked like something out of lady and the tramp with the red and white checkered linen and all. Well done Angelina's you deserve 5 stars!
(5)Shaina S.
We loved Angelina's so much that my family came back 2 days later (on a Friday) for a second go. Everything was still good, but not quite as polished as it had been on a weeknight. The bread seemed to be cut smaller and when I ordered the chicken marsala myself, I found the richness to be quite strong for a whole meal. I still managed to eat most of it though. The busy night made the restaurant extremely noisy. Everything was still good, just a little less so.
(4)Travis M.
In the 16 years I have been eating at Angelina's I have never had a bad meal!! Love the New Atmosphere also!! FRIED MOZZ!!!! YUM
(5)Liz M.
Friendly, professional staff, excellent food and drink, every time!
(5)Anne S.
This place is so good! Homemade, yummy bread. We had the olive spread that was delicious. The garlic olive oil is delicious, but definitely too much if you're not a garlic fiend like me! I had the lasagna which was meh, but the chicken picatta was AMAZING!!!! definitely go to this place. You will not be disappointed!
(4)kat q.
This place is wonderful! Both my family and myself has been dining at Angelina's for over 20 years. This place has wonderful food and service. It's a quiet romantic atmosphere - and is a good place for bringing a date, friends, or family. There have been several times the owner, the cooks, or other staff has come out to check how the food was or just to chat. Everything about this place is great!
(5)Christine D.
Food is fresh and excellent. Very small dining area and seating is a bit awkward. Good wine list.
(4)Lisa P.
Actually deserving of 4.5 stars, but alas, Yelp doesn't do the half star thing. Regardless, everything that needs to be said has pretty much been said here. I've tried just about everything on their menu over the last 8 years and have never been disappointed in the food. The service can be hit or miss, but I suppose that's to be expected when you're packed to the gills with famished customers who are loyal to some of the best grub to be had in Lake Havasu. I'm Italian and my momma is an amazing cook - and Angelina's gives her food a real run for her money. In my book, that's saying a LOT. We hit Angelina's several times a year when vacationing and ALWAYS during the IJSBA World Finals (jet ski racing) to carb up the night before our motos...it's a little known secret that we actually knock our competition out on the starting line with the garlic breath we acquire there the night before =) Their bread is heavenly and my all time favorite dish is the stuffed shells with ricotta and spinach - but I like to substitute their red sauce with their delicious house made Alfredo...man, my mouth is watering just thinking about it now! My boyfriend is a pretty picky eater, and he loves this place too. Reservations are highly recommended if you have a larger group, but I've seen them happily accommodate big walk-in groups, so don't be afraid to try. I've heard they are going to relocate to a larger spot closer to the lake, but still in an industrial area soon - that's fine, as long as they leave a nice trail of that crusty, buttery garlic bread so we can find them on our next trip out there.
(4)Sandra M.
Always the best. Great food , price and the rosemary bread is awesome , along with everything on the menus . We have been going there for years and now that we live here, we go there once a week.
(5)UltimateFoodCritic F.
Wow! Crazy that I have traveled to most big cities in the US and finally found my favorite Italian restaurant in Havasu!! This place literally serves grandmas recipes from Italy !! I don't live anywhere close to Havasu, but I am craving to go here again !
(5)Chris R.
I loved this place when it was run by other members of the family. In its current incarnation it has lost all that made it a great restaurant. Dining room is crowded... waiting for a table you wait in the hallway that leads to the bathroom... food is still okay, but just does not have the zip it had. Always feel like I am being rushed out so they can reseat the table. If the prices were lower I think it would better fit this restaurant. But the value is just not there.
(2)Chad S.
I ate their with my family last night and it was very good. VERY GOOD. From the appetizers, to the rosemary bread, to the main courses - all were outstanding. It would have been 5 stars, but the service is a bit lackluster. Fortunately the cousin makes up for that.
(4)Brian P.
I shocked with the reviews to be honest. I know there are not a lot of Italian places in Havasu and maybe that's why it has good reviews but the food was just OK. it's a small whole in the wall which i like and i found this place by using yelp to find a new spot in town. Overall it was just OK.
(3)Brenda C.
I have a few words for Angelina's it had the worst service ever we waited approximately over an hour waiting for our food which our waiter never put in , this was our worst experience ever in over a decade at any restaurant. We own a house in havasu and we usually go there every time we come to havasu.. We will never go back again... ( manager and server was the worse)
(1)Sam L.
Not the greatest service at the place
(2)Andy Z.
This place is the real deal. Some hardcore Italians in this family and Angelina's passed the test. Even the 4 year old (who orders chicken strips everywhere) cleaned his plate of spag and meatballs. The eggplant parm was delicious. We will be back next time we visit Havasu.
(4)Brandy B.
Great food, and they were all friendly. The front room is loud, and the back room(where we did sit; through the bar) is much quieter. This helped with one of our party having hearing difficulty. I had pasta primavera: fresh, perfectly cooked veggies, light, and flavorful sauce. He had spaghetti and sausage, his standard, and raved about how much better than Mario's this was. Bread with rosemary sprigs on top is wonderful, and hearty, AND we had a second helping if it. We were leaving town today, so lamented last night when we ate there How we'd have to wait until next year to go again. Plans changed, do we are in town a few more nights and WILL DEFINITELY go again. Reservations are very helpful! It gets busy...
(4)Mike G.
I have seen this place several times when visiting Lake Havasu City but never went in. I went in tonight and found the staff very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and the food was out of this world. The sausage and peppers were some of the best I've ever had and im Italian and cook my own sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan on going back tomorrow. The owner even came out and made sure everything was good for me. It's hard to find places like this. GREAT PLACE TO EAT!!!!
(5)Kari M.
Amazing food. Everything I've had is great. I love the chicken Angelina and the chicken marsala! The bread they serve is delicious. The only downfall is that it's usually loud inside the restaurant, and almost always packed, so make a reservation!
(5)Andy S.
Great customer service, but the food was just ok. I ordered the Tour of Angelina and sadly the fettuccine was terrible. The lasagna and chicken were just ok. Thank you for great customer service though and I am glad to hear that many people do enjoy their food. It could be just the dish I ordered, but I won't be back due to the gross fettuccine.
(2)Inbal M.
Great food, everyone in my family enjoyed it, very good price for that quality of food.
(5)Ryan A.
Appetizers of calamari and stuffed asparagus were so flavorful! Chicken rollatini, chicken caprese, gorgonzola spinach ravioli were outta this world! only flaw was thd chicken pesto which was drowning in evoo, but still had potential to be a great dish if given little more love. Overall 5 stars for being in Lake Havasu which begs for a greater level of dining than it currently has.
(5)Artemis S.
I'm with the reviewer who quipped this place is "Good Italian for Havasu, but substandard elsewhere." I'm also surprised to see somebody mention that this is a "new location" for the restaurant, as it's in what seems to be a very old building located inconveniently behind/catty-corner a shopping center. The parking lot is more like a fairground parking lot than a fancy Italian place; no pavement or markers; just dirt. That's why I felt it very odd that this place tried to come off as fancy, asking if we had reservations and what-not. On that note, I didn't really understand any of the hoity-toitiness we got, here The wife and I accidentally walked in what we thought was the entrance, but was actually a gate to a private courtyard where the patrons acted so offended we interrupted their convo; said patrons were 20-somethings gossiping vapidly, so I just thought "shut up" and walked in. So sorry the entrance isn't marked, brats! It didn't end there, though. Our hostess, after asking if we had a reservation in a clearly not crowded restaurant, first told us we couldn't have a table because it was "too big" for us and then lied about a booth saying "There's uh...a 3-top coming in..." before angrily seating us. (I've worked in restaurants, so I understand if tables need to be set aside; but she was clearly lying, and while we dined no such "3 top" came in that I saw.) Anyway, on to the two things that were good about the experience: The food and our actual waitress. As I've noted on other reviews, I'm a gnocchi guy; I got the gnocchi and it was pretty good. Our waitress, a middle-aged lady amongst the plethora of rude youngins, was more-than-accommodating and didn't act as if we were wasting her time by not ordering a bottle of wine or whatever is expected in such FINE ESTABLISHMENTS. The atmosphere was good to me, typical dark Italian restaurant vibe in an again oldish building; only real problem there is the confusion in the entrance and the fact that it's pretty small/crowded in a non-cozy way inside. Not sure what the reviewer commenting on the new location having so much space was talking about; old location must have been stifling. All-in-all, I'd say if you're staying at a hotel within walking distance and tired from the trip, as we were, and are *really* craving Italian, go in. Otherwise maybe take a ride. It's hard not to recommend this place based on the fast food junk that's around it, but the presumptive attitude of the staff here about their status as fine dining is kinda a turn-off.
(2)Em-Em O.
I would give it a 5 but the wait last weekend was so ridiculous, I'm now giving it a whopping 2 stars! Called in for reservations at 8:15....was still waiting by 8:45. My brother and cousin's reservations were at 8:30 and they didn't eat until 10. That's seriously unacceptable! Either turn away people or get a bigger place to accommodate who you accept for reservations. Don't be like a nail salon! (This was from a couple of years ago; I just noticed it was sitting in my "pending review" box today.....lol)
(2)Luna P.
Love this place. The service and food are phenomenal. My sister and I come every year for a sister trip and we always go to Angelina's. I'm vegetarian and the pasta, bread, and wine are PERFECT. Highly recommended. It's hard to find but very well worth it.
(5)Leah C.
If your looking for good food and great service this is the place!!! Not one thing to complain about.
(5)Shari C.
Quaint, cozy atmosphere!!! Service was pretty good..... Food was exceptional !!! Will definitely go back again!!!
(4)Karin W.
Why oh why is Linquini with white sauce spicy....so spicy you can't taste your food after 5 minutes....this dish should be flavorable but not so peppery that you CAN'T taste the clam sauce! I make it at home all the time, I order it all the time! from NY to Positano and the dish should be tasty yet subtle with a taste of seafood. but if you over pepper it you are covering the taste! next issue, what kind of bread is that I. The bread basket....drop it, yuk.....get some fresh crispy baguettes and butter..100% better. or typical garlic bread. Whatever was in the basket, blah! next: calamari presentation: Put them on a flat plate, not a deep plate. the calamari was sinking under the marinara dip bowl, it looked like you were getting shorted on calamari. Sorry to point these out, but for the money you pay in this area..it can be improved. Not going there again.

The food at Angelina's is absolutely amazing! The servers are very attentive and know the menu. I would recommend making reservations if you plan to go on the weekend night.

We have been to Angelina's several times and hands down, this is the best Italian food in Havasu... It used to be that people said.."that place isn't bad for Havasu..." Now there are legit great eateries here and Angelina's leads the way... The lasagna is outstanding...really...honest... It's that good... Moderate prices and hometown feel. Get yourself o Havasu and eat here!!! Hurry!!! It's that good!!!
(4)Charlie A.
Great Italian food! Love the pink penne, tour of Italy, and diablo pasta with shrimp and scallops. Dear Angelina's your salads served with meals could use a little more substance. Calamari is yum!
(4)Darlene L.
I ordered the Baked Ziti and must say, "It was delicious." Very attentive waitress. I even had enough to bring home for lunch the next day.

This place is good for Havasu but substandard for any actual city. It's got an awesome vibe to the place though. Beer tasted like crap but they have loads of wine and hard alcohol. This place doesn't understand salad. The meal comes with a house salad but you can't swap for a side Cesar. you have to just straight up order the side Cesar as an additional salad with the rest of your meal. "if you wanted we could just put Cesar dressing on your house salad" uhh no. Nice try. And speaking of dressing. They use WAYYY too much of it and I like it loaded on so that's saying something. So order light dressing and it should be great. Meals were of an epic size. The trio canelloni was good. Angel hair pasta wasn't bad either but still think It could have been better.

My wife and I went to Anelina's for the first time and it was great. My wife had the Terry Pasta ( very good but a little to spicy ) I had the Chicken Rolletini ( very very good, a must try ) highly recommended. Also service was very good. Thanks Sierra :)

Love the new location. Much more room to enjoy a nice meal. Great food and great service! No complaints whatsoever.

Great Italian Food, Very friendly staff and excellent atmosphere.
(5)Migs U.
This place is a little hidden but great Italian food. I'll definitely be coming back here when I visit Havasu. The staff was very pleasant and the portions were great. Price are decent especially for the quality of food you get.
(5)Conrad F.
We enjoyed a delicious meal with impeccable service this past Thursday night. Reasonable prices, plenty of food, and great ambience make this a must visit when in Lake Havasau. Try the spaghetti & meatballs or the pasta primavera- Delicious!
(5)Rob W.
Tim and I gave Angelina's another try finally last weekend. We got the Angelina's experience that so many are claiming. Efficient Friendly service. Great fresh food. I had Spaghetti Marinara - add sauteed spinach - delish. I'm thinking we'll be back sooner this time around!?!
(4)Janet N.
Never disappointed in Angelina's Restraurant , great food and service! We've been coming for 15+years...love C

I'm giving this 2-stars based on the experience, NOT the food. The food was excellent, we loved it. My husband stated that it was possibly the best spaghetti and meatballs meal he has ever had. I ordered the Linguini dish with chicken, but the sauce was soooooooooo spicy that after 3 bites I had to return the meal. I had previously told our server to ask the chef to give me mild sauce, and she forgot to do this but didn't tell me, she just served me the dish and set me up for a horrible, burning experience! I felt like my mouth, throat and esophagus was on fire. The rosemary bread was very delicious, and the salad was fresh, but I did not get the balsamic dressing on the side as requested, it was poured all over the salad, making it greasy and too soggy, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place by asking for my dressing on the side. Overall, great food, and friendly staff that needs to pay more attention to the details and customer requests. HOWEVER, I would probably not eat here again. We came for an early dinner around 5pm, and it was not packed. However, there was an empty table by the bar area, so we took advantage of that, thinking we would be able to order and receive our food faster. WRONG! It took our server 15 minutes just to bring us bread and water! After we ordered our food, it took 15 minutes before we got our salads. THEN, it took another 30 minutes before we received our main entrees! My husband was able to eat, but I was not due to the extra spicy kick that the sauce had. I sent my dish back and was told by our server she would ask the chef to just add more heavy cream to my dish to distill the spicy taste. What????? That was not acceptable to me, so then she said it would be a while before the chef would cook up another Linguini plate for me, less spicy of course. I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes to get my food, so my husband and I just began sharing his meal. That should not have happened. She did end up bringing a fresh Linguini plate, but the alfredo sauce was very watered down and it was not something I expected from a $18 meal. Once I received my replacement meal, we ended up taking it to the hotel and just eating there. That's NOT how I planned our night out....to end up eating my dinner at our hotel! Overall, will not eat here again.
(2)Amanda J.
Can you say slow service!? Took forever to get our salads and now we have been done eating for 20 minutes and everyone is on their phones yelping at how slow the service is and the bill still hasn't come! Bread is delish, salad tasted like it was out of a bag, pasta was ok, homemade sauce. They need to hire some more help!!

Would have given them 5 stars when we first started going there at their old location, but things changed after they moved. We always order the seafood diablo and it used to be amazing. Used to go once every trip. We ordered it once to go after they moved and it was not great. Seemed to have fewer shrimp and scallops. We have been there at least 4 times to give it another shot and every time we are disappointed. Order while wheat pasta and never get it. And each times it seems to get smaller and smaller....less and less of what we came for. We miss it and wish it could still be our go to when we are in town. Still the best Italian food in town but not worth the trip most of the time for us.
(3)Kelly C.
Good food for Havasu & dog friendly patio so we'll go again.
(4)Michelle D.
DEFINITE 5-star spot considering the location, but I suspect I'd give these guys the same 5 stars were it in the middle of West Hollywood. This was bar-none some of the most fabulous homemade Italian food I can recall having in recent memory... We darkened their considerably tiny doorstep with a rambunctious party of 15 one recent weekend evening, and nobody there batted a lash. We were seated with no difficulty (something the 15 of us can scarcely pull off at home on our own), and proceeded to eat some of the most delicious Italian food to be found anywhere... Their pizza and pasta dishes were all (without exception) completely delicious -- even their mussel app was expertly cooked and served bathed in the loveliest broth. The bread rocked, the service was thoughtful and patient... Unbelievable. Not wild about being stuck out in the middle of the desert (must be a variant of agoraphobia -- that, or fear of the environment's 24-hour liver-sizzling heat), but would danged-near make the 300-mile drive just to eat at Angelina's again. EXCELLENT restaurant in the unlikeliest of locations... :)

Sat at the bar at Angelina's and we were able to watch the opening of the London Olympics. Had a great bartender so we decided to eat dinner at the bar. She recommended the chicken rollotini which was excellent. For dessert we had the chocolate cannoli, which was also very good. Great service and very friendly. Would come back again. BTW, bread was awesome! We were a party of two couples.

We have been coming to Angelinas since it opened with the original owner Jerry Grippo in the kitchen! Nothing beats his food or recipes! And although he has passed, his son Richie has taken over and his cooking is just as amazing! The atmosphere is intimate and fun and they just added a new bar in the back. Of course Christina is always around to make sure your order is perfect! Love the food, the owners and the atmosphere!! It's a can't miss in Lake Havasu!
(5)Peggy D.
been here many times over the past several years. definitely make a reservation in the summer, it is that good! the drinks are good too!
(4)Dylan G.
Always a great dinner at angelina's. My girlfriend and I go there every couple of months and LOVE the "tour of angelina's." the staff seems to have gotten better in the new location, and the food is just as good as ever!
(5)Diana L.
One of the best restaurants in Arizona and probably the US. Amazing food. Have the Seafood Lasagna with scampi sause - incredible. If you live in Havasu or are just visiting - this is a MUST EAT AT location. Wait staff was great - playful and so helpful. Don't forget dessert!!!
(5)Scott L.
I had a fantastic meal here last night. I love a family run restaurant and this one is tops. The food is made with obvious love and the owners daughter gave us top notch service, even choosing our entrees for us. I'll be going back often.

Yelp has helped me alot when I travel to new places. So, I yelped before going to Lake Havasu City to search unique restaurants and found many positive comments about Angelina's IK. I suggested this restaurant to my hosts and we did decide to dine there in their new location. Location: I thought it was delightfully tucked away from the madness near Mesquite and since we are all early birds had no problem with the parking, since there is an abundance of parking available in the rear of their new location. It is very easy to get to with no traffic issues at the time we dined. I give it five stars for parking. Service: nothing really stands out with regard to their service. Our waitress seemed preoccupied with other things. Food: I will try not to be redundant with referencing the unique Rosemary Focacia bread and my chums special Lobster Fetticini was above reproach. However, I am a huge Cannelloni fan. Typically, Cannelloni are a cylindrical type of pasta generally served baked with a filling and covered by a sauce. The operative word is "baked", which Angelina's is certainly not, nor is it covered with sauce while baked. Theirs was served (LUKEWARM), utterly horrible, with a bland tasting sauce that appeared to have been brushed on and give a 2 second nuke job. So, contrary to many reviewers, who loved this dish, personally, I hated it, but, did not want to rock the boat with my dear friends. The salad was mediocre at best. So, two stars for the inconsistency of their so-called authentic Italian food. I suppose if you stick with the fettucini dishes it would be fine. This was the first and hopefully last disappointment using Yelp, which has served my travels well up to this point.

I crave Angelina's when I am not in Havasu. My favorite place to eat while visiting.
(5)Josh L.
I customize everything and ordered the spaghetti, meatball, and sausage with meat sauce "diablo style". It was their hottest way of serving it. It was very hot but tasted great! My wife had the lemon chicken with veggies which tasted wonderful. We will try to make the lemon chicken dish at home.
(5)Mark B.
What's not love about Angelina's. Great food, great service, GREAT PRICES. All meals come with a house salad, served family style, the salad has a great dressing. I had the Veal Parmesan, it was very tender and a nice size piece of veal. Others at the table had Veal Pizzola, Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan, cheese ravioli and sausages and pasta. Everybody loved there meal. Service was very good. A little hard to find, but worth the effort.
(5)Tony M.
Best Italian cookin in Havasu. Nothing fancy, no attitude, just reasonable prices and and great food. The Eggplant Parmesan was great, and exceeded my expectations.
(4)Renee B.
Whole wheat Spagetti and meatballs mmm mm. I love how they have whole wheat as an option. Dinner came with delicious bread and a great salad. Topped it all off with a glass of red wine. Service was a little slow, dinner rush of course, but will def visit again!

Where to start... There are way too many tables in a tiny room. The servers had to reach over people to get to other tables. My back was literally against a wall. Hubby said it was the smallest table he's ever sat at. Steamed clam appetizer only had SIX little clams! For $12.95? Not cool. Salad was awful. Yellowing iceberg lettuce and the dressing was obviously bottled as it was like syrup. I ordered the salmon piccata. I'm not a picky eater at all but I actually sent it back because it was so salty. I didn't order anything else to replace it as I devoured the rosemary bread (the best part of the dinner). Hubby ordered lasagna. He said it tasted burnt. I tried it and to me it tasted very average...nothing exceptional about their lasagna at all. The service was good - our server tried to compensate for my meal with a free cannoli dessert. I don't eat desserts but I appreciated the gesture. Hubby tried a bite and said it wasn't all that great. Outside too hard, inside too sweet. It's a shame because this was one of hubby's faves, but he said this was his worst experience at Angelina's. I personally like Mario's better.

You cannot visit Havasu without eating at Angelina's . Great food and service, although there could be times when wait can be long, even with a reservation. It's OK..... have some drinks at the bar. Steak and shrimp, Salmon Florentine and Chicken Picatta are highly recommended!
(4)Jaime K.
Five stars for Lake Havasu! Small, quant, not a chain! Food was tasty and delicious. Everybody in our party of 6 enjoyed their food. Service was efficient (indifferent). The cheese bread appetizer was sinfully good. I am vegetarian and I ordered pasta primavera with light oil. It was yummy. We all ordered Spumoni as dessert. I am not a Spumoni expert but it was delicious. It was good enough to want another bite and not too sweet. I would definitely come back. A "gem" of a restaurant especially for Lake Havasu! In fact, I haven't found a better Italian restaurant in San Diego! Enjoy!
(5)Kathy D.
honestly the food was incredible. I had the shrimp Alfredo and it was to die for. I must also add to the list of compliments that this really is the best bread ever! We also shared some spaghetti and it looked like something out of lady and the tramp with the red and white checkered linen and all. Also was served the chicken primevera, delish!
(4)Autumn M.
I love this place! You couldn't ask for more! Coming from a bigger city Havasu is lacking in the good restaurant department. Look no further for great food. By far this is the #1 place in town........ Just wish they would give a little more TLC on their look. I was a little nervous going in the first time. I am glad that didn't hold me back but I could see it being a problem for some. Plus it is so packed most of the time since their is not a lot of seating. And I have been there when "Crazy Lady" showed up. She got mad because she thought the wine had free refills! lol. If you don't have anything to talk about you will once she leaves! To funny!

We have been long time fans of this It establishment. We were excited to be back in town, and to visit again. However, the staff was a bit disjointed! We overheard that the Manager was not there, and the servers were a bit off! A waitress came to take our order because we were waiting so long. She repeated our order back incorrectly two times! A bit worrisome! Then another server brought us the wrong order! A few minutes later they brought the correct order, and we sat back to enjoy a very tasty Veal Parmesan! The Focacia bread was warm and wonderful! The last thing to go wrong was in our favor! The total bill was incorrect! We called it to the attention of the hostess and it was corrected! We did not feel that the error needed to be charged to the server! Would we go back? Of course! It is a terrific place! I do wish that they would expand, though!

Ah, heck. I am really sticking my neck out here. I may regret this. We saw Angelina's on the Arizona Highways Magazine list of the best restaurants in Arizona. So finally went there on Friday night. We called for reservations, no problem. Went over there at 6:45 PM. We were seated immediately, and the place was packed. Which is why I said I am sticking my neck out. If too many people start going I may not be able to get a table. Oh well. It's a pretty small mom and pop type place in sort of an industrial zone. It's off the beaten track, nowhere near the other restaurants. It's a freestanding building. It's cool and dark inside, candles on the tables. Nice. Romantic atmosphere. Nothing flashy, nothing like a chain restaurant. But nice. The food was great. I had the triple Canolli plate that Shaina S posted the picture of, and it was great, except there isn't any veal, I asked. Veal sounded good. It was great, tasty, big, and served hot. Covered with a delicious marinara sauce, I think. My wife had the "Eggplant parmigiana meets chicken parmigiana" and that was great. Pretty big, and amazingly it was served with spaghetti, and note you can request any of about 8 kinds of pasta, your choice. Before we were served a delicious salad and the rosemary bread was just NUTS. Unbelievably good. How the heck did they make that? Gee whiz. We had a spumoni for dessert, and I recommend not leaving Angelina's without having the spumoni. You just won't believe it, and for $4. Geez. Well worth it. Is this the best Italian I have ever had? I don't know, but it's very close. The bread was easily the best though. Gad. Have the bread! You won't be disappointed. I give Angelina's 5 stars. I don't find that many places that are all that good. This one is. I hope I can get a table next time. Everyone stay away! Just kidding.
(5)ted t.
very good food for the price. Glad we made reservations it was busy on Friday at 6:00.Very good service and friendly. You open the door and just smell the fantastic food!
(4)Kit K.
The one star review is misleading only in that the food was good. But egads! I've never had such horrible service EVER! Okay, we arrived at 7pm without a reservation (didn't know we'd need one) and had a 20 minute wait. Finally were seated and it was EASILY 20 minutes before anyone came to take a drink order even. No bread, no water, no interest in the four of us sitting there. Finally the hostess shows up and apologizes for "the wait" and takes our drink order, adding that she will also bring water. Another 10 minutes passes, and finally we get our drinks, but no water. Another 10 minutes goes by and finally someone shows up who is apparently our waitress. No apologies for ANYTHING. She takes our orders, and when my husband asked if these dishes came with a salad, he was assured they did. Before I could ask about salad dressings, she was gone. Easily another 10 minutes goes by and finally we see salads delivered by yet another person and they all have "house" dressing on them. I ask if this is normal to have house dressing and not be asked for a preference, and am asked "is there a problem". No. Just give me some food. I'm starving. About halfway thru our salads, a basket of bread arrives. Finally our entrees arrive and, as stated previously, the food was good. I had Chicken Angelina which is a cross between Chicken Parmesan and Eggplant Parmesa and was good. Not incredible, but good. Hubby had the Chicken Piccata and said it was great. Our friends has Chicken Marsala and Angel Hair pasta with meatballs and sausage. They said it was good. It was 8:45 by the time we got out of there and it would have been sooner but we could not get the waitress's (assuming that's who she really was) attention to pick up the bill. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Sure, the food was good, but who wants to spend all that time waiting for it?
(1)Terri G.
Amazing. Been in Havasu five years. Just found this. Looks like a hole on the wall from outside. But inside you feel like you are in Italy. The best italian food this side of north beach in San Francisco.
(5)Matt C.
If you love authentic Italian food, then you will absolutely adore this place.. Any negative reviews on here are from people that would probably prefer the lunch buffet at Pizza Hut and clearly don't have a pallet to appreciate the authenticity of the food. I'm from an picky Italian family and this is everybody's favorite withing 300 miles of here. We always go to Italian restaurants in Vegas and Phoenix and Cali and this is the best of all of them by FAR! I've been there a million times and the service has always been great... And the new location is awesome too!!
(5)Jan A.
Have to say that this is my favorite place in Havasu to eat & I have tried most all of them. Even though its a small out of the way place, you can always count on getting really good food. I have been probably 10 times & never had a bad meal. My only complaint would be that I wish they had cloth napkins. Then it would be perfect.
(4)Dale R.
The food is great, but could we get a menu online? When I called and asked for a menu online they said "our menu is in the red phone book." The "red" one? I have NO idea why a restaurant would rely on people having one of Havasu's 8 phone books, but it would seem to make sense to just get a simple website and put up a menu. We aren't living in 1975 any more...
(2)Jody W.
Whatever, forget all the bad reviews! This place has amazing Italian food, probably one of the best I've ever been to. But don't listen to me, try it for yourself!
(5)Georgia R.
From the outside, you'd never know a great Italian restaurant is awaiting you inside. You're more likely to think you're entering a dive bar than a family friendly, family run establishment. Locals love this place. My grandparents live in LHC, so I've been to most of the restaurants and bars there, Angelina's included. And I have to admit that this restaurant is one of my favorites. Depending on what you order, your dish will cost anywhere from $10-16, and they have some really great appetizers too. I usually get the raviolis and they're great, but my grandpa loves the stuffed shrimp and pasta. The last time I went, I sat next to the craziest lady at a table all by herself. Every time anyone at my table would order something, she would mumble "mmm, sounds good" or "great choice" or "that's my favorite too." It was incredibly strange but it made the evening even more entertaining. Here's to hoping you sit by her too.
(4)chester l.
this is the best italian food in havasu. hell, might be the best italian food in arizona. the first time i went in here i asked the that my pasta be "extra-spicy". it wasn't. i sent my plate back with the instuctions that the waitress inform the cook that i was insulting not only his ability to make a spicy meal, but his mother as well. she told him. the food was perfect.
